Paediatric Musculoskeletal Services involves the investigation, diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal injuries for children. This generally includes injuries to the bones, muscles, nerves, joints, ligaments or cartilage. When a child requires physiotherapy it is usually when experiencing issues such as back and neck pain or respiratory issues.

Physiotherapy can assist a child in managing their condition, helping them to restore and improve the movement of the area affected by injury.

At the Royal Free Private Patients Unit we have dedicated paediatric consultants who specialise in Musculoskeletal conditions to assist in the diagnosis of child injuries. We aim to provide expert advice to families, using high quality equipment for diagnostic testing.

From outpatient assessments to complex surgical procedures. Our expert Consultants are dedicated to treating orthopaedic patients, supported by specialist nurses and therapists who help regain health and mobility as quickly as possible through the appropriate rehabilitation.
