In 1982 As-Salam International Hospital opened its doors for accepting patients to experience a higher level of care than what was available in the Egyptian market. As-Salam is one of the largest private sectors, tertiary care hospital, constructed at 6,000 m2 using international standards.
Mr-Fusai-at-ASSIHIt is equipped with latest technologies and comprised of a well-trained expert team of professional staff including Nurses and Physicians from Egypt, MENA, the Philippines, US and other countries. Since opening day, As-Salam International Hospital has strived to be the leading provider of health care in Egypt by setting the standards in excellence of patient care and patient service with state-of-the-art facilities. Currently ASSIH is engaged in an extensive renovation plan that shall be completed by December 2015 which will allow the Hospital to furtherly provide the latest in medical technologies and specifications along with an extremely unique state of construction design. In addition to enhancing our quality services and inpatient bed capacity to 354 beds, in order to serve the ever-growing demand of the Community. This new construction will also include a medical tower dedicated to ambulatory care services, thus positively changing the scheme of how wellness, health and medical services are delivered.

As Salam International Hospital Egypt and the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust Private Patients Unit Affiliation
Dr Fahad Khater, Chairman – As Salam International Hospital, Egypt and Mrs Frances Campion-Smith, Private Patients Unit Director, the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust signed an affiliation agreement in February 2014. As Salam International Hospital Egypt and the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust Private Patients Unit Affiliation.
The affiliation areas of cooperation include second opinion satellite clinic consultations, Royal Free London consultants’ scheduled clinics at As Salam International Hospital, Egypt and training observerships for As Salam International Hospital medical staff at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

The Specialty Hospital is a leading private teaching hospital, located in Amman Jordan.
The Specialty Hospital is a leading private teaching hospital, located in Amman Jordan, its distinguished location makes it accessible to patients from Jordan and abroad. It is well known in the region as a medical tourism destination, and during the past 20 years, the hospital served more than 4 million patients from them 400,000 inpatient admissions, 800,000 ER visits and 150,000 operations for patients from 83 nationalities.
The hospital was officially inaugurated in 1993, it capacity is 265 beds with around 1000 qualified employees and serves 700 consultants that are highly qualified and dedicated to providing quality care to Jordanians and international patients.
It is fully equipped to provide a full range of inpatient and outpatient diagnostic, therapeutic medical and surgical procedures. The Specialty Hospital administration is keen to introduce the latest technology; it was the first to provide Hyper-Baric Oxygen therapy and CT Angiography 3 Tesla MRI.
Our new operation theatres are considered the most modern in the region using state of art technology of air filtering and aseptic techniques to minimize hospital-acquired infection. The Specialty Hospital surgeons managed to achieve very high success rate in off-pump cardiac surgeries, pediatric cardiac surgeries and organ transplant especially kidney transplant with a success rate of 97% in addition to cochlear transplant, arthroplasty, knee replacement, dental surgeries and other sophisticated procedures. We are the first and the only Jordanian hospital members in The American Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS).
The Specialty Hospital is a well-recognized teaching institute for nine physicians’ specialization programs approved by the Jordanian Medical Council, Arab Medical Council, and the Royal College of OBS/GYN. Additionally, The Specialty Hospital knee centre has become an approved teaching centre by the International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS). Furthermore, our Specialty Training Center (STC) is a recognized training centre by the American Heart Association (AHA).
Believing in the importance of the quality of services provided for both local and international patients the Specialty Hospital became one of the most awarded and accredited hospitals internationally. It is accredited by The Joint Commission International (JCIA) three times and accredited 3 times by the Health Care Accreditation Council (HCAC).
Also, the Specialty Hospital is first and the only hospital to achieve King Abdullah II Award for Excellence for two consecutive cycles. In 2012 the hospital was awarded by Arabia500 for being from the top 500 companies in the growth rate in the past 3 years in the region. The hospital commitment to social responsibility to serve the local and the neighbouring community was crowned by receiving CSR Arabia Award.
In addition to; MECCAward, Prince Faisal Award, ISO 9001, Occupational Health and Safety OHSAS 18001, Environmental Safety ISO14001, Hazardous Analysis and Critical Control Points HACCP for food safety, and quality management system for medical laboratories ISO 15189.
