Dr Niall Power
I have been a full time NHS consultant for 11 years having trained in Barts and the London NHS trust and completed my training with a fellowship in Toronto. I am trained in radiology of the chest, abdomen and pelvis with a special interest in gastrointestinal and gynaecological imaging. I have written research papers, review articles and book chapters on my areas of interest. I perform and report ultrasound and barium studies and also report a large volume of CT and MRI scans. I am also skilled in ultrasound and CT guided interventional procedures.
I am both an educational and clinical supervisor within the trust.
Out of work I am married with two daughters aged 9 and 11 and relax by following the fortunes of Manchester United football club and the Kilkenny hurling team, though relax may not always be the right term. I play piano and ukulele.
